 		I could only pick one - so i choose country - BUT in actual fact - I love music - almost every type of music. Only have issues with rap, hip hop and scat. Rap and hip hop glorify violence, imo, and I just don't understand scat LOL

 		Scat is related to jazz and blues. hard to explain .. Sort of mimicking the sounds of a wind instrument using vocalizations.

 		In no particular order, my playlist by genre:
Americana, Texas Country, Alternative, Blues-Rock, Grunge, Progressive/Art Rock, Trance, Country Western, Heavy Metal, Classical, Jazz-Fusion

If it's interesting and not mainstream, I usually like it.

 		There aren't any stations here that play trance. Well maybe on the TV. Rogier van Gaal plays trance, I think. Anyway it is really upbeat and beautiful to hear. The type of music I listen to usually depends on my mood. I think it *reflects* my mood, so when I am down I really do not want to hear some happy la la song!!! lol!!! Is it the same for you guys?

 		XM radio has a trance station --- I listen fo 2 mins then get really NERVOUS! Theres some good metal out there when I get tired of country

 		Mainly 60's for me, the best time to be a teenager in history, but other things as well. Some classical is amazing; some older country as well.

 		Thelonious Monk now there is something I have never heard! I will have to google it or see if something is on Utube!!!

I just got a CD of Astor Piazzolla's music. ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5tc57Gmfjw .... Oblivion is , well just listen....
